Our current geological epoch encompasses the rapid rise and proliferation of humankind and culture globally. Holocene’s sound is tight, fast, and layered with inviting detail, channeling that spirit of explosive expansion.
It offers an even, balanced frequency response across its entire range, giving listeners exceptional clarity and a high-fidelity representation of their favourite artists’ sonic vision.
Interior Inspiration
The team at Campfire were inspired by their best-selling Andromeda IEMs, and endeavoured to design something that captures much of its magic, but with a fresh approach to sound signature. Needless to say, they’ve done it again, and made something special in the process with its own unique character.
Holocene delivers a portable hi-fi listening experience. You’ll enjoy balanced sound without bloated bass or recessed mids, allowing you to observe the nuance and subtleties in your favourite recordings.
Holocene features a custom balanced armature for highs, along with two independent custom balanced armatures covering mids and lows. These three drivers are combined and optimized with a signature 3D printing acoustic chamber design. This harmony of driver and design elevates the musical experience of Holocene, creating an incredibly impressive soundstage that is revealing and resolving.
Radiant Design
Holocene is adorned with glow-in-the-dark elements, from the Campfire Audio inlay logo, to the MMCX and 3.5mm overmolds, and even elements of the “Epoch” zipper case. Charge them with light and enjoy the show when the lights go out, and the stars come into view.
The Holocene shell is machined from aluminum and anodized in an “umber” brown finish. It is set with black tri-lobe screws, and a black PVD finished stainless steel spout. Mammoth is completed with our custom beryllium copper MMCX connector, ensuring stable performance from your cable connection.
Litz Cable Glow Up
Our new “Smoky Glow’” Litz cable features Silver Plated Copper Litz wire conductors and our popular tangle-resistant twisted cable weave. We’ve added new Glow-In-The-Dark overmolds on both the MMCX connectors and the 3.5mm plug to complement our new line of earphones. Our overmolded ear-hook design results in a lightweight cable that is a pleasure to use every day.
“Epoch” Carrying Case
Upcycled Marine Plastic in the form of SEAQUAL® YARN makes up the rugged outer layer of our Campfire Audio Holocene zipper case. It’s made in Portugal, and the lume zipper and plaque glow even in the dark.
Each case pattern design is unique, and each is one of a kind. Our “Epoch” colour palette ranges from rainforest greens to aquatic blues. Mysterious geometric shapes float freely and collide in unexpected ways. These are fun cases that protect your earphones and give you something fun to enjoy while you’re not listening.
