Specifically designed for Dione, Advanced Dimensional Experience (ADE®) patented technology combines ingenious speaker placement detection and advanced digital filters to deliver superior multichannel audio restitution through the use of beamforming techniques. For the listener, this maximizes the impact and immersion of multichannel content at all times, no matter the position of the soundbar, while delivering superior audio all around.

Enjoy sound that goes above and beyond. The Devialet Dione soundbar is Dolby Atmos-enabled, allowing it to provide a uniquely immersive surround listening experience from an all-in-one soundbar. Originally designed for the film industry, Dolby Atmos delivers layered 3D sound from above, taking the Devialet Dione experience into another dimension.

Not all content is encoded in Dolby Atmos, so for everything else, SPACE™ technology opens up a new dimension of sound. Devialet’s patented algorithm embedded within Dione’s state-of-the-art signal processing stage upscales any mono or stereo signal into a 5.1.2 signal for an all-enveloping, multi-layered, deeply immersive sound experience — whatever the content you’re enjoying. SPACE upmixing algorithms are used through several listening modes to fine tune Dione’s acoustic capabilities and enhance the viewing and listening experience.

State-of-the-art sound engineering made simple. Devialet Dione intelligently adapts to each room to provide the best experience, whatever content you are watching. The Devialet Intelligence Processor combines Devialet’s amplification and signal processing technologies (ADH®, SAM®, Magic Wire, Class A, DAC) into a single, one-square-centimeter System on a Chip (SoC), custom-designed for optimal efficiency. Adaptive Volume Level.
Devialet’s Adaptive Volume Level (AVL™) technology is Dione’s dynamic equalizer. It harmonizes sound levels adapted to each content, in real time, for a more enjoyable listening experience. An action packed scene coupled with whispering dialogue? You won’t miss a single detail.
Reads the room.
Dione calibrates and tunes its sound to the room it’s placed in. In the Devialet app, scan your space using Dione’s four calibration microphones to establish an accurate acoustic model of your room. Our custom software takes into consideration multiple acoustic parameters that might impact the audio quality — room size, walls, furniture, layout, and the placement of the soundbar inside the room — to create an accurate representation of the surrounding space. Dione will intelligently tune the sound output to this acoustic model of the room, so that the soundbar sounds its best.
Flexible installation.
In addition to fine-tuning its sound profile through room calibration software, Dione intelligently arranges speaker channel splitting based on the position of the soundbar, using its internal gyroscope to detect whether it’s been placed flat on a piece of furniture, or mounted on a wall.

Measuring 47 inches (1200 mm) wide, 6.5 inches (165 mm) deep, and 3.5 inches (77 mm) tall, the soundbar is carefully crafted with premium material all around, with the central core body made from anodized aluminum and coated with acoustic fabrics.
ORB central sphere.
Rounding out the angular silhouette of Dione, ORB® is the focal point of the soundbar’s design, in addition to hosting one active speaker and two passive radiators. With the ability to rotate the sphere 180° clockwise, ORB can visually and acoustically maintain its front-facing position whether the soundbar is wall-mounted or placed flat on a piece of furniture.

Devialet Dione runs on the DOS2 software ecosystem, meaning set-up and customization are seamless in the Devialet App — the same one used for Phantom.
